Furniture and Door Refinishing
Dining tables, dressers, bed frames, teak pieces and entry doors. If it is solid wood and worth keeping, it is usually worth refinishing.
Every piece starts with a look at what is on it now. Tabletops that need a marine varnish get an adherence test first, so the new finish bonds to the old instead of peeling in a year. Marine varnish is what I reach for on pieces that live near the ocean.
Doors are often done along with a cabinet job, but I take them on their own too. A front door takes the worst of the sun and salt and is usually the first thing on a house to fail.
Small repairs, loose joints and touch-ups are welcome. Send a photo and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
